I belong to a young Jewish womens organization, called Yahava Hadassah. We are having our second book club and we will be discussing The Girls from Ames. It would be wonderful to get a call from one of the girls featured in the book during our review.

We are having our bookclub to discuss The Girls from Ames on Sunday, August 2nd at 7:00 pm. It would be a great surprise to my friends if we got a call from one of the girls featured in the story.

Also, please keep everyone updated on the girls, particularly Kelly and Angela. Our hearts and prayers go out to them. My one friend in the book club had a scare with breast cancer last year – fortunately for Holly it turned out to be precancerous. But she is on a 5 year treatment plan with Temoxifan. I myself had cervical cancer but am now 8 years free.
